Mar.2008, Shanghai Jiao Tong university is equipped by HiClass V -Multimedia Net Work Educational System.
Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), directly subordinate to the Ministry of Education, is a leading university in China, jointly run by the Ministry of Education and Shanghai Municipality.
HiClass V, new generation of multimedia educational system launched by Ikonnet, have been installed in more than 500 computer labs over the past one year. To promote the teaching efficiency in the computer lab, the Mathematics Dep. of Shanghai Jiao Tong University brought in 80 seats of HiClass V to form its multimedia computer lab.
1)Data is transmitted by the shielding twisted-pair (STP). Digitalized HiClass V ensures A/V signals transmission quality, inimitable advantage in transmission speed, and supports a resolution of 1600*1200 maximum.
2)HiClass V's "broadcast function" could be used under Windows, Unix and Linux. The features enable the Institute to achieve the teaching task of every subject such as math model, arithmetic designing and discussing.
3)Teacher can operate all the functions on the Teacher Console without any training. Moreover, the teacher can operate the console with the remote controller while being away from the seat.
